"Every individual is an artist, the real talent lies in believing in oneself" ~ Cristina Re

Cristina’s love and appreciation for beautiful design began early. Born in Rome, and having migrated to Australia, her encouraging parents sent her to art school in Northern Italy at 13, where the classical history and timeless romance of her culture influenced and formed her love for the arts and decoration.

Upon graduating from university in Melbourne, Cristina always knew she wanted to run her own business setting up a design and photography studio. With an eye for style and a passion for fashion, she became one of the first female wedding photographers in Australia, winning numerous prestigious awards for her progressive and artistic work capturing brides in a new and fashionable manner.

Combining her photographic skills with hand illustration, she personalised invitations for her clients soon discovering a niche in the market for affordable customisable stationery – this led her to release the first ever do-it-yourself collection featuring her patterns, which evolved into the largest range of fashion forward DIY craft range on the market. Her concept empowered the customer to produce their own unique creations as well as the opportunity for women to run home businesses offering tailored invitation services, providing the platform to build successful creative careers.

Where A Girl Goes, Cristina’s flagship boutique which launched in 2009, was her next successful visionary venture and a first of its kind concept at the time- a unique and beautiful shopping destination to take women on a journey of the senses. The stylish store/high tea salon was launched with the desire to bring women together to celebrate friendship, food, fashion and femininity. Cristina’s deepest desire was also to encourage women to feel inspired, spiritually uplifted and to nurture their well-being – this has been the motivation and driving force behind the creation of all of her products, in particular, her teaware ranges.

Over the last twenty years, Cristina has been a pioneer for new ideas and change. Her business has evolved into an iconic brand recognised for luxury homeware and lifestyle products with her signature feminine style. But even more than this, her beautiful ranges have become timeless collectables and a symbol of celebration, elegance and femininity.

The Cristina Re range now boasts over 500 products of the highest quality sold to over 1000 independent boutiques and department stores internationally. Her company continues expanding with extensive new products, licensing deals and high calibre collaborations with reputable fashion and homeware retailers. Cristina’s passion and entrepreneurial drive has contributed to the success and longevity of her business, and she loves to keep innovating and lead the way in luxury product design.
